Guidelines are ESSENTIAL to the successful implementation of a companies identity and therefore it’s brand recognition and value. All those that have to use the visual identity are therefore involved in the development of the company brand.
A manual may also details what the brand stands for. It’s goals, aspirations, uniqueness and ethos. In defining the brand & identity, we are creating the VISION for the way clients want to promote themselves as a company that can be trusted to deliver on its promises. Developing a unique story and identity that helps to position a product or service as quality and trusted is critical in expressing it’s special difference. It is this difference which will define the collective vision for the kind of company we want to be in the years ahead.
Staying true and passionate to this vision is just as important. To this end, the manual is much more than just a set of identity guidelines, it is often an expression of the way we wish to live and be seen.
